WELCOME - Colophon Page is a home on the Internet for the community of collectors, dealers, creators and lovers of the fine publishing arts. Please tour the site: visit the Gallery featuring Richard Minsky's continually multi-linked survey of the history of The Illustrated Book, Maurizio Scudiero's richly illustrated essay on the Italian Futurist Book and the portfolios of Contemporary Book Artists/Publishers; Artist Book Dealers are listed on our Journal page where you can find links to Umbrella Magazine and WOID; the events Calendar edited, and regularly updated, by Judith Hoffberg; Colophon Journal offers selections from UMBRELLA and, in collaboration with UMBRELLA, a listing of Artists' Book Dealers Worldwide; - we look forward to your comments and suggestions.

We invite inquiries from galleries and dealers specializing in 20th century illustrated books, and related works on paper, as well as contemporary book artists and publishers. Book projects designed expressly for the Web are especially welcome. We are pleased to receive prospectuses for current books and will list them in our Journal section.

Serving a "community" is an interactive process that reaches across the screen to establish a genuine reciprocity of interest between you - the community - and the staff and contributors of Colophon Page. We invite your contributions, both editorially and regarding exhibitions.

Thank you.
